These terms are the agreement between you and PumpEat about using the app and website. By installing or using PumpEat, you accept them. We tried to write them like humans.
In short: use the app kindly, don’t break it, and don’t pass our content off as yours. Recipes are inspiration, not medical advice. Premium is billed through the app store.
01Acceptance
The PumpEat app and website are operated by Mykhailo Horban (“PumpEat”, “we”). By using the PumpEat app or website, you confirm that you have read and accept these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service. If you use PumpEat on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you are authorised to accept these terms.
02Your account
Some features require an account. You agree to provide accurate details and are responsible for keeping access to your account safe. Tell us if you notice unauthorised use. You must meet the minimum age set by your local law (never younger than 13).
03License
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use PumpEat for personal, non-commercial purposes under these terms. All rights not expressly granted remain with PumpEat.
04Acceptable use
While using PumpEat, you agree not to:
copy, sell or distribute app content without our permission;
attempt to access the source code, decompile or hack the service;
use the app for unlawful activity or to violate the rights of others;
overload the infrastructure, or run bots and scrapers without consent;
impersonate another person or mislead other users.
05Content & recipes
Recipes, texts, photos and collections in the app are provided for personal use. If you add your own content (say, recipe notes or reviews), you keep the rights to it while granting us the right to use it to operate and improve the service.
You are responsible for making sure your content does not violate third-party rights or contain prohibited material.
AI-generated content. Recipes, previews, tips and other content in the app may be generated by automated AI systems. It can contain errors or inaccuracies and is provided without any guarantee of accuracy, completeness or safety — always use your own judgment when cooking.
Imported content. When you import recipes via links to public social posts or websites, that content is fetched from public sources at your request. We do not endorse it, and you are responsible for using it lawfully.
06Premium subscription
PumpEat Premium is a paid subscription with extra features. The essentials:
Billing goes through your App Store or Google Play account when you confirm the purchase.
Free trial. If a free period is offered, billing starts when it ends unless you cancel beforehand.
Auto-renewal. The subscription renews automatically until you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends.
Cancellations and refunds follow the rules of the relevant app store; manage the subscription in its settings. After you cancel, Premium stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for.
Price changes. We will announce any change in advance; it takes effect from the next period, subject to the app store’s price-change process.
07Food & health
Important. Information about calories, ingredients and nutrition is for reference and may be inaccurate. PumpEat is not a substitute for advice from a doctor or dietitian. Always check allergens yourself — especially if you have a food allergy. Dietary and allergen filters (including Premium auto-filters) are automated and best-effort: they may fail to exclude every allergen or its variants (for example, specific nut types). Never rely on them if you have a food allergy — always verify the ingredients yourself.
You use recipes and recommendations at your own discretion and risk.
08Intellectual property
The PumpEat name, logo, the Pump mascot, design, texts and code belong to PumpEat and are protected by intellectual-property law. You may not use them without our written permission.
09Disclaimer of warranties
The service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We aim for smooth operation but cannot guarantee it will be error-free, uninterrupted, or exactly what you expect. You use the service at your own risk to the extent permitted by law.
10Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, PumpEat is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses connected with using — or being unable to use — the service. Our total liability is capped at the amount you paid for the subscription in the last 12 months.
11Termination
You may stop at any time by deleting your account. Note that deleting your account does not cancel a store subscription — cancel it in your App Store or Google Play settings. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these terms or where the law requires. Upon termination, your licenses end; provisions that naturally survive (such as intellectual property and liability) remain in force.
12Changes to terms
We may update these terms. We will announce significant changes in the app or by email. Continuing to use the service after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
